Bringing engineering to the community
ECE
works with the community to promote science, engineering, and college
education. Each of these programs helps students better understand
engineering and perhaps guide them to a career in engineering later in
life.

GEAR
- Get Excited About Robotics
GEAR is a 6-8 week LEGO robotics challenge for elementary and middle school students during which student teams build and program LEGO robots (using the MINDSTORMS NXT kits) to perform specified tasks.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology)
FIRST is a unique varsity Sport for the Mind™ designed to help high-school-aged young people discover how interesting and rewarding the lives of engineers and scientists can be.
